“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” – Anatole France
As we continue to set our goal to become a self -regulatory organization (SRO), we continue to provide learning sessions that will help in professionalizing our industry.
For the first half of the year, our membership fee has been lowered again to P500 from the original fee of P1,200. We have conducted a free sales clinic in the first quarter for members. We have continued the legacy of organizing SMS (Sales Mastery Series) in the 2nd quarter. We have lined up MDRT Echoing for the 3rd quarter and Philippine Life Insurance Congress on the 4th quarter. We will continue to provide courses like the Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner and Certified Wealth Planner programs.
Our chapters in Baguio, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro also contributed in making sure that LUAP will be able to reach members in their areas. To make sure that we will be able to serve members all over the nation, we will be reviving and organizing chapters like Ilo-ilo and Tacloban. Other provinces like Samar, Butuan and Pangasinan will also be formed.
All of these will not be possible without the selflessness of the current board --Rachel Arimas, Karen Yulo, Joy Go, Angela Gaw Flores, Francis Nico Serrano, Agnes Ng, Christine Duran, Mark Joseph Fernandez, Nellie King, Josephine Chua, Willison Yu, Sheryl Nacario, and Celeste Ong. Let me also thank the past presidents for their continued support to the organization especially to Emmanuel Paras, Janette Lee and Cecil De Mesa.
In LUAP, we are not defined by the colors we represent. We are defined by having a common mission, which is to spread financial literacy to the Filipino people. Let us unite together to make our industry and our country better.
